ABOUT CASINO DENE

We help build our local community and are always looking for new ways to give back.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Casino Dene first opened its doors to the public on September 27, 2007, and are proud to have developed into one of the premier entertainment destinations in the Lakeland.

The casino first began as a vision of the Denesuline (Chipewyan) Tribe of Cold Lake First Nations. Our goal was to provide an economic development plan to foster opportunity and advancement for the First Nation people, which turned into a reality through an agreement with the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.

We are located on reserve lands of Cold Lake First Nations just 7 km south of the City of Cold Lake and 300km Northeast of Edmonton with several neighboring communities within a 30-45 minute drive.

We offer our guests 10 table games with up to $100 maximum betting limits, over 250 games, and free entertainment every weekend.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT BOTTLE PROGRAM

We take great pride in helping our community and the environment! Our Community Support Bottle Program is a great way for us to support local charitable programs & organizations as well as protect our environment.

Every three to four weeks a non-profit organization within Lakeland is selected from submitted applications to receive all the empty bottles we have gone through to bring to the local bottle depot for return. This total usually averages $400-$700.

If you are a non-profit organization or charity that would like to apply for our Community Support Bottle Program please see below for our online or downloadable application.
